  Ao kanzanshi       

is a twiggy shrub similar in shape to Butterfly.  Each leaf is edged with pale cream and gives the impression of a cloud of tiny stars.                                size 1- $27  size 2- $35

Asahi Zuru

also known as "the dawn swan," has distinctly defined variegations of white and rich green.  The new growth in spring is a light pink before turning white.  size 1- $27

Autumn Moon  

has leaves with an unusual burnt color and underlying shade of green.  It is best grown where sunlight can bring out its colors.   size 2- $35

Beni Hime      

is a small dwarf shrub grown best in full sun.  Leaves emerge reddish in spring with green tones through summer and bright red in fall.   SOLD OUT

Beni schichihenge

is similar to Butterfly, but the markings are pink orange rather than pink.  Basic color is bluish green with strong white margins.  size 1- $32

Bloodgood   

is one of the most popular red-leafed palmatums.  It holds its dark red color into late summer better than others.  size 1- $25    size 3- $37

Butterfly        

has green leaves with pink variegations in the spring.  These variegations turn cream color in the summer and magenta in the fall.  size 1- $25

Chishio Improved    

is a small-leafed upright with crimson leaves in the spring which turn a cool green in the fall.  size 4- $55

Emperor 1

exceeds Bloodgood in retaining its red color and growth rate.  Its deep purple red leaves hold well even in shade.  size 1- $25

Garnet

is a red weeping dissectum.  Its leaf color is the rich red orange color of the gemstone garnet.  size 1- $25

Geisha

is a dwarf plant with shades of pink to light cream, sparsely flecked with dark green spots.  size 1- $37

Glowing Embers  

is a Michael A. Dirr introduction.  This is a fast growing, heat tolerant tree.  Its leaves emerge green in the spring and turn an orange-red in the fall before dying off like embers.  size 1- $25

Iijima sunago

is an unusually variegated tree that starts out a coral red and darkens to a rich purplish brown.  The variegations appear in mid-summer when the leaves appear to be sprinkled with tiny irregular green spots like sand on a mahogany surface.  size 1- $37

Johnnie's Pink      

has leaves that emerge bright pink, changing to a deep reddish brown, and then to a medium green.  SOLD OUT

Kamagata

is a rare dwarf variety.  The green leaves are edged with red in the spring.  Fall colors are yellow and orange.  size 1- $37

Katsura   

has delightful spring growth.  Its leaves emerge pale yellow-orange with brighter orange margins turning green in the summer and orange in fall.    size 1- $27 size 3- $45

Kiyohime      

is a dwarf maple with green leaves edged with orange-red in spring.  The leaves are green in summer and yellow-orange in fall.  size 1- $37

Lionheart

is a unique upright dissectum.  Its leaves are bright red in spring with green undertones in summer and back to a deep crimson in fall.                             size 1- $27

Orange Dream     

has leaves that emerge a fresh orange color, changing to lemon-yellow with orange margins.  Grows best in part shade where leaves will not burn. size 1- $25    size 2- $37

Orangeola    

is a cascading dissectum.  Its leaves turn fiery orange red and holds its color through late summer.  size 1- $25

Oridono nishiki   

is a boldly variegated tree that starts off pink.  The leaves then turn half green, half white all summer.   size 2- $37

Red Emperor     

emerges bright red in the spring and holds its burgundy color in hot summer turning to a brilliant crimson in the fall.  size 2- $30

Red Select         

is a weeping dissectum with rich red-orange foliage that turns deep red in the summer and bright red in the fall.   size2- $30

Sagara nishiki

is one of the few maples with bright yellow variegations on a green base. Best grown in semishade to protect its beautiful variegations.  size 1- $27

Sango Kaku

has a brilliant coral bark.  Leaf color is bright green with a reddish tinge, and changing to yellow-golden in fall.  size 1- $27

Seiryu   

is and upright dissectum.  The leaves emerge as green with red tips in the spring and change to gold and crimson in the fall.  size 4- $55

Sekka Yatsubusa   

has green leaves with rust-red edges in spring.  Fall colors are yellow and orange tones.  This plant takes full sun quite well.   size 3- $42

Tamuke yama

is a deep red dissectum.  Its colors turn to a very dark purple red.                size 1- $27

Tennyo no hoshi

has green leaves with a cream or light green variegation that is finely edged around each lobe.  The leaves develop a curve or twist and gives a cloudlike appearance.  size 1- $37

Toyama nishiki

is a rare variegated dissectum.  Its basic leaf color is a purplish or greenish red with pink or white markings.  The colors are more intense in shade.  Fall color is gold.  size 1- $37

Villa Taranto

is a deeply cut dome-shaped plant with orange crimson colors in the spring turning green with a reddish overtone, creating an unusual pastel look.  Fall colors are yellow and gold.  size 1- $25

Waterfall  

is a green-leafed cascading dissectum.  The leaves have a flowing appearance resembling a waterfall.  Its fall colors are brilliant gold and crimson tones.  size 4- $60

Wilson's Pink Dwarf  

comes alive in the spring when the entire plant is a light pinkish or pink-red color.  size 2- $37

Yezo nishiki

has a bright reddish color in spring which deepens in summer.  Fall color is brilliant scarlet.  size 1- $25
